Required qualifications, skills and mandatory criteria:

  • PhD student or PhD holder for 3 or less years;

  • Researcher working at a Higher Education Institution or Research Centre;

  • Research activities related with, or with application in the fields identified below (with no special order or priority of interest):

    • Marine biological resources (Fishing, aquaculture, marine biotechnology, etc)

    • Shipping building and repair

    • Maritime and coastal tourism

    • Marine safety and security

    • Port and logistic

    • Marine energy and mining resources

    • Environmental and coastal planning and development

  • Interested in innovation and knowledge transfer activities

  • Involved in activities of research and development of early-stage technologies

Technopole Quimper-Cornouaille has extensive experience in technology transfer and innovation in the Blue Economy and other areas, with 32 years of experience. From 2001, TQC has taken part in several successful EU-funded projects relating to these areas, including the project INVERTEBRATE or ICE, that are aimed at fostering innovation in Blue Economy. TQC also works on national technology transfer projects such as “the programme Ouest Start-up” that is aimed at supporting future entrepreneurs to challenge their ideas or the programme PEPITE that supports students to create their own businesses”. TQC is also part of the CLUSTER “Pole Mer Bretagne Atlantique” that supports business innovation and research in Blue Economy. TQC will provide experienced mentors with skills in entrepreneurship in new technologies from whom selected researchers will regularly engage with and learn from.
